About Me

Since 2011, I have been working as a Speech-Language Pathologist in the medical setting, where I have gained extensive experience helping individuals of all ages, from infants to adults. My expertise covers a broad spectrum, including speech, language, cognition, communication, voice, swallowing, feeding, and upper airway disorders. I am deeply committed to family-centered care, understanding the importance of involving loved ones in the therapy process to ensure the best outcomes for my patients.

On a personal note, after 10 years of being a medical SLP, I am now a mother to two preemies, and navigating the medical world as a parent has given me a unique perspective. Experiencing the challenges from the other side has made me a more compassionate and empathetic clinician, allowing me to approach therapy with a deeper understanding of what families go through. This firsthand experience enhances the care I provide, helping me better support my patients and their families during difficult times.

My goal is to assist families in understanding and addressing their child’s specific disorders by conducting thorough assessments, providing accurate diagnosis, and developing tailored treatment plans. I prioritize educating families, empowering them to actively participate in their child’s progress. I believe early intervention is key to successful therapy outcomes.

Throughout my career, I have been driven by a passion for supporting patients during some of their most challenging times, helping them make small and large gains in therapy. I hope that I will be able to help you if you are looking for a dedicated, experienced, and compassionate SLP.
